Giroud's Goal Revives Milan's Hopes
AC Milan secured a crucial victory in their Champions League campaign with a 2-1 triumph over Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) at the San Siro on Tuesday, reviving their hopes of advancing to the knockout stage.
After a goalless first half, Rafael Leão broke the deadlock for Milan in the 79th minute with a fine solo effort. Just six minutes later, Olivier Giroud rose highest to head in a cross from substitute Brahim Díaz, giving the Italian side the lead.
PSG pushed for an equalizer but Milan held on to their advantage, securing their first Champions League win of the season. The victory moves them up to second place in Group E, three points behind group leaders Chelsea.
